Mitzpe Nathan , located in the city of Modi'in , is a spectacular observation point overlooking the Jerusalem Mountains and the Ayalon Valley.
The observatory is named after the late armor officer Captain Nathan Cohen , who fell in the line of duty during Operation Protective Edge in the Gaza Strip in 2014.
